Irvin Hernandez

Irvin Hernandez is an associate at Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta office. His practice focuses on products liability litigation, with an emphasis on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation and personal care products. His practice includes both state and federal courts across the country, including single plaintiff actions and mass tort actions. He has experience handling matters from pre-litigation claims through final disposition or resolution. He also helps advise companies regarding regulatory, compliance, and risk management matters.

 

Irvin received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law. During law school, he served in various leadership roles, including Articles Editor for the Emory International Law Review, president of the Latin American Law Students Association, and class representative for the Student Bar Association. During law school, Irvin participated in externships with the Georgia Court of Appeals for The Honorable Michael P. Boggs, prior to his elevation to the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the legal department of the Latin American Group of Turner Broadcasting Systems. He was also a summer legal intern for The Coca-Cola Company. He received his B.S., cum laude, in Political Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While at UTC, Irvin was an offensive lineman on the football time and served as Co-President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

 

In addition to Co-Chairing the Leadership Academy Committee for the GLLF and serving as Director of Communications for the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, Irvin remains engaged in the community. He represents pro bono clients through firm-organized initiatives and through Atlanta Volunteers Lawyers Foundation to represent clients in landlord-tenant and wage disputes. He also serves as a mentor in the Latin American Association and volunteers with the Atlanta chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.


Jessica Davila

Jessica was born and raised in Havana, Cuba, and moved to Miami, Florida in 2005. She later obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida International University, and worked for an insurance law firm in South Florida before pursuing her law degree. In 2017, Jessica obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Emory University School of Law and began her career as an attorney at a litigation firm, focusing on Plaintiff work. Currently, Jessica works as Corporate Counsel for FiberLight, LLC, a leading telecommunications provider in the South East.

While they were her least favorite subjects in law school, she spends most days negotiating contracts with other telecommunications and social media companies and fighting right of way disputes from a public utility standpoint. When she is not researching new FCC or PUC/PSC regulations, Jessica enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family in Miami. As an avid traveler, her favorite activity is racking up her husband’s miles to explore the world and other cultures

Frank Montes de Oca

Frank Montes de Oca is a proud member of Atlanta, Georgia’s Hispanic community, where he resides with his wife of 10 years.  Those who know Frank best describe him as passionate about annoying his wife, obsessed with consuming an alarming amount of coffee in the morning (usually Café Bustelo), and the nightmare of teenagers in neighborhood pickup games.  

Frank is also a second year associate attorney at Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP, focusing his practice on the representation of lenders and borrowers in commercial loan transactions involving a wide variety of industries.  Frank was born in Las Tunas, Cuba and grew up in Orlando, Florida.  During those times when Frank is not deep into migraine inducing commercial contracts, he can be found searching the recesses of financial market information while looking for the next get rich quick scheme.



Claudia Chafloque-Siu

Claudia Chafloque-Siu focuses on commercial real estate matters. She counsels clients on the development, purchase, sale, leasing and financing of various types of commercial property, including retail, mixed use, warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, multifamily and office projects.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Claudia participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program as well as a major beverage corporation’s fall externship program.

Additionally, Claudia practiced law for several years in Mexico, where she worked as a legal consultant for a high-end technology distribution company as well as the International Treaties Department of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She also worked as a consular clerk for the General Consulate of Mexico in Atlanta before attending law school.
